These terms apply to everyone who uses Fusebox.online. By creating an account, you agree to them. We've kept them as short and clear as we could; please read them through.

Who we are

Fusebox.online is a service of Dolphiq BV, Rembrandtlaan 24D, 3723 BJ Bilthoven, the Netherlands, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 55097669 ("we"). You can reach us at hello@fusebox.online.

What Fusebox.online is

Fusebox.online lets you record what is in a fusebox: the circuits, what is on them, photos and who the installer is. Every fusebox gets a QR code, so whoever stands in front of it sees at once which circuit is for what.

Fusebox.online is an overview, not safety advice. Users fill in what is in a fusebox themselves; we don't check it. Before you work on an electrical installation, don't rely on what is here alone, and leave work on your fusebox to a qualified installer.

Your account

  • You must be 16 or older to create an account.
  • Fill in details that are correct and keep them up to date. An account is for one person.
  • Keep your password to yourself. We recommend two-factor authentication or a passkey. If you notice someone else is using your account, change your password and let us know.
  • With a business account, you use Fusebox.online on behalf of your company, and you confirm that you're allowed to. A company's admins decide who is on the team and in which role.

Your fuseboxes

What you put in Fusebox.online, such as fuseboxes, circuits and photos, stays yours. You only allow us to store and show it as far as we need to provide the service: to you, to the people you share it with and, for the name, the circuits and the installer, to anyone with the fusebox's QR code.

You're responsible for what you fill in. Don't add anything that isn't yours or that you may not share, or anything unlawful. Don't put details in the name or the circuits that you wouldn't show a visitor.

Sharing

  • You can share a fusebox with a person or with a company, to view it, edit it, or edit it as the installer. The installer is named on the QR page and the PDF. When you share with a company, its whole team has access.
  • Who a fusebox is shared with is up to its owner, or for a company's fusebox, an admin of that company.
  • A fusebox has one installer at a time. When you choose a new installer, the previous one loses access and hears so.
  • An installer with a business account and a confirmed email address can ask for access through the QR code. The owner decides. Individuals get access through an invitation.
  • The owner can stop sharing at any time. Whoever loses access hears about it.

Business accounts and your clients' data

When you create a fusebox for a client as an installer, you enter that client's details, such as their address, name, phone number and email address. You're responsible for that data; make sure you may record it and share it with us. We process it on your behalf, under the processing terms below.

The fuseboxes you create for your company belong to the company, not to you as a team member. If you leave the team, they stay with the company.

Plans and payment

  • Personal is free and meant for your own fuseboxes, within the limits shown on the plans page.
  • Pro and Exclusive are paid yearly plans for business accounts. They cover your whole company; only an admin can take one out. Prices are on the plans page and exclude VAT.
  • Trial: a new business account can try Pro free for 14 days. You don't enter payment details, and the trial ends by itself. If you subscribe during the trial, you pay at once, but your paid year only starts when the trial is over.
  • Payment goes through Mollie, with the payment methods you see there. You pay a year in advance. You allow Mollie to charge each year's renewal to the same account or card.
  • Renewal and cancellation: your plan renews every year until you cancel it. You can cancel at any time in your settings; you then keep your plan until the end of the year you paid for. You don't get money back for the rest of that year, unless the law requires it.
  • Changing plans: moving to a larger plan takes effect as soon as you've paid the difference for the rest of your year. Moving to a smaller plan takes effect at your next renewal.
  • If a renewal payment fails, we email your company's admins a link to pay, and you keep your plan for 14 more days. If it still isn't paid by then, your company falls back to Personal until the payment comes in. Your fuseboxes stay as they are.
  • VAT follows the EU rules: Dutch VAT for companies in the Netherlands, reverse charge for companies in another EU country with a VAT number confirmed in VIES, otherwise your own country's VAT rate, and no VAT outside the EU.
  • Price changes are announced at least 30 days ahead. They apply from your next renewal, so you can cancel if you want to.

Paid plans are for businesses only, so the consumer right of withdrawal doesn't apply.

What isn't allowed

Don't use Fusebox.online to bother others, for example with unwanted invitations or access requests. Don't try to get into fuseboxes or accounts that aren't shared with you, get around your plan's limits, overload the service or scrape data from the site. You may not copy or imitate the service, or resell it without our written permission.

Availability and changes

We do our best to keep Fusebox.online available, but we can't promise it never falters. The service may be down briefly for maintenance. We keep improving Fusebox.online, and that can change how it works; if we remove something you rely on, we'll tell you beforehand. If we ever stop the service, we'll tell you at least three months ahead, so you can save your fuseboxes.

Closing your account

You can delete your account at any time in your settings. If you have a plan that still renews, cancel it first. What happens to your fuseboxes:

  • You can hand your own fuseboxes over to a person you share them with. We delete the rest, and everyone who had access hears about it.
  • If you're on a company's team, you leave that team; the fuseboxes stay with the company.
  • If you're the last member of your company, we archive the company with your account. Its fuseboxes stay readable through their QR codes, and if the company filled in the resident's email address, the resident can take the fusebox over.

If you don't keep to these terms, we may block or close your account. We'll tell you why and give you a chance to put it right, unless it's serious or the law makes us act at once.

Liability

We're not liable for damage because details in a fusebox are wrong, also when an installer filled them in, or because Fusebox.online is temporarily unavailable. We're also not liable for indirect damage, such as lost revenue.

If you're a business, our liability is in any case limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the damage.

These limits don't apply if we caused the damage on purpose or through gross negligence, and they don't take away the rights you have as a consumer by law.

Who owns Fusebox.online

The software, the design and the name Fusebox.online belong to Dolphiq BV. You may use the service as intended for as long as you have an account. If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them to improve Fusebox.online.

Changes to these terms

When we change these terms, the version and the date at the top change. We keep a record of which version you accepted. If it's a change you would notice, we email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. If you don't agree, you can close your account before that date.

Transfer

You may not transfer your account or your rights under these terms to someone else without our permission. We may transfer Fusebox.online to a company that takes the service over; we'll let you know if that happens.

Applicable law

Dutch law applies to these terms. Disputes with businesses go to the District Court of Midden-Nederland. If you're a consumer, you keep the protection of the law of the country where you live, and you can also go to the court there.

If part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies, and we replace that part with a provision as close to its purpose as possible.

Processing terms

These terms apply to business accounts, as a data processing agreement under Article 28 of the GDPR. Your company is the controller; we are the processor. You don't need to sign them separately: they apply as soon as you accept these terms. Where they conflict with the rest of these terms on personal data, these processing terms prevail.

  • What we process: the data you enter about your clients, such as name, address, phone number and email address, and the data of your team members. We only do so to provide Fusebox.online, for as long as your account exists.
  • Only on your instructions: we don't use this data for anything else, unless the law requires us to. In that case we tell you first, where we're allowed to. If we think an instruction of yours breaks data protection law, we say so.
  • Confidentiality: everyone at our end who works with the data is bound to confidentiality.
  • Security: we protect the data as described in the privacy statement, with measures that fit the risk.
  • Sub-processors: you allow us to use the parties listed in the privacy statement. When one is added or changes, we tell you at least 30 days ahead. If you have a sound privacy reason to object, tell us within 14 days; if we can't work it out together, you can stop your plan and get back what you paid in advance. Each sub-processor is bound by the same agreements as we are with you, and we stay responsible to you for what they do.
  • Assistance: we help you when a client exercises their rights, for example to see or delete their data, with a data breach and with a data protection impact assessment.
  • Data breaches are reported to you without undue delay, and within 48 hours of discovering them, with what we know at that moment. Reporting to the authority and to your clients is up to you, as the controller; we help you with it.
  • End: when your company stops, your clients' fuseboxes stay readable through their QR codes, so they can take them over. If you'd rather have them deleted, email us; we confirm once it's done. We keep invoices as long as the law requires.
  • Audit: you can ask us to show that we keep to these agreements. We'll give you the information you need for that. If you need more, an audit can take place once a year, by arrangement and at your cost.
  • Liability: the limits in these terms apply, as far as the law allows.
